One Stop Program Helps to give Native American tribes access to electric vehicles

BLUE LAKE, Ca. (KIEM) – The Blue Lake Rancheria will be rolling out electric vehicles this weekend at the California Indian Big Time and Social Gathering.

Visitors will get a chance to ride and drive in the cars! One of the cars you can take for a spin is a Chevy Bolt! It’s all part of Blue Lake Rancheria’s One Stop Program, which aims to make electric cars more affordable to disadvantaged communities. Their goal is to reach zero carbon emissions by 20-30.

The event starts at 11 A.M. at HSU’s West Gym on Saturday.
