Athletes have a ball during the Life Skills Basketball Tournament

MCKINLEYVILLE (KIEM)- While college basketball continues with the Final Four this weekend, back here at home, some athletes are having a big dance of their own on the court.

It’s the Humboldt County High School Life Skills Basketball Tournament. Four schools competed including Fortuna, Eureka, Arcata and host team McKinleyville.

All the teams have been getting ready for the big event of the past month. And while the players gave it their all, no matter the outcome, the goal was for everyone to walk away winners.
