Blue Lake Rancheria Rolls Out Electric Ride and Drive Booth during Big Time and Social Gathering at HSU

ARCATA, Ca. (KIEM) – During HSU’s California Indian Big Time and Social Gathering event, tribal community members had the opportunity to test drive electric powered vehicles.

Blue Lake Rancheria is working to combat climate change. One their efforts is spreading awareness about electric cars. The cars at Big Time were free to drive! The tribe’s goal is to reach zero carbon emissions by 2030. They believe that electric cars is one of the steps to get there.
