LOLETA, CA. (KIEM) – A special community event took place Friday evening.

Its the 7th annual Wings for a Cure fundraiser, put on by the California Cancer Crusher. Hundreds of North Coast residents showed up to support the communities efforts in the fight against cancer. Local businesses donated products that were put up for auction, and several high school students received scholarships for their work within the community. The founder of the cancer crushers shares the main purpose of this event.
