Scientists & Community Members Gather to Hear about Ongoing Research and Development Projects

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – Scientists and community members gathered at the Wharfinger Building to hear talks about the work and research happening on the North Coast.

It’s part of the 9th Humboldt Bay Symposium. Topics discussed included research on the Humboldt Bay, current ocean conditions, habitat restoration, and even economic development.

The conference is held every two to three years.

The symposium was last held in 2016.
