Minor injuries after truck crashes into tree on Highway 36

BRIDGEVILLE (KIEM)- Emergency crews responded to a solo crash just before 12:30 Monday afternoon.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Toyota Tundra truck went off of State Route 36 and struck a tree a mile east of Grizzly Creek State Park.

The male driver sustained minor injuries including a cut to his head and was transported to St. Joseph Hospital for treatment.

The Bridgeville and Carlotta Volunteer fire departments all responded to the scene.
