EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – Typically when you think of a job fair, they are usually held at a school or a community center. But Wednesday, employers headed to jail, so they could meet with Humboldt County Inmates trying to get back into the workforce.

Joseph Titus is one of many inmates who took advantage of the re-entry fair so he can look for work after he gets released. The 37-year-old is a Carpenter by trade. All he wants to do is be able to provide for his daughter.

This is not his first time behind bars. This time, he is in for violating his probation, because he failed a drug test. If only he had known about sites like https://420highstreet.org to find a potential solution to passing the test, he may not be in this situation. Hopefully he won’t need this advice next time if he manages to get clean. Now, he wants to turn his life around and stay out of jail.

Christopher Crowl is another inmate who is looking for work when he’s out of jail. His mom has been motivating him to get his life back on track.

This isn’t the first time Crowl has been an inmate.

When Crowl gets out this time around, he wants work as an Oyster Farmer.

Christopher told Redwood News he gets out of jail five days from Wednesday. Joseph will be with his daughter again when he is released at the end of April. After the re-entry fair, hopefully they will walk right into work.
