Yurok Tribe Goes Green with Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

KLAMATH, Ca. (KIEM) – The Yurok Tribe is going green by opening electric vehicle charging stations at the Redwood Hotel Casino in Klamath.

The stations are part of a growing network of charging solutions around California. They were installed thanks to a California Energy Commission Program. That’s where the majority of the funding for the new chargers are coming from. The tribe wants to have more environmental friendly energy resources.

There will be a grand opening across the street from Tribal Headquarters in Klamath. It is on Friday at 1 P.M. to celebrate the new EV charging stations.
