Caltrans has 57 Million Dollars in Corridor Improvement Projects in the Works

EUREKA, CA., (KIEM) – Caltrans continues the process of a Safety Corridor Improvement Project. Its to prevent traffic collisions on the section of roadway between Eureka and Arcata.

All five projects will cost around $57 million. The funding for the Indianola Cutoff is through the State Transportation Improvement Program.

The others are through their State Highway Operation and Protection Program. The only cost that’s not in there is the Mitigation Project. That is yet to be determined.
