Fire and Light Glassware will Close its Doors at the End of the Week

ARCATA (KIEM) – It’s an emotional week for a decades old business here in the North Coast. Fire and Light Glassware will be shutting its doors at the end of the week.

Several years ago, Fire and Light’s products were carried in over 1000 stores. But after the 2008 recession, 500 of those stores were forced to close.

The company says, it’s no longer financially feasible for them to operate.

One local tells Redwood News, the business has been around for so long that they’re sad to see it go.

The last day for the showroom is on Saturday, April 27th.
