Locals Enjoy Nice Weather during First Salt and Fog Fish Festival

EUREKA (KIEM) – With the sun out today, many North Coast locals got a chance to enjoy the weather and the first Salt and Fog Fish Festival.

Many local vendors were out on the plaza. There were yacht races, a clam chowder contest, and even a visit from the ship the Hawaiian Chieftain.

The festival drew in crowds of families and people.

Last night, the Salt and Fog Festival kicked off with a pub crawl through Downtown Eureka.

Festival organizer Alanna Powell says, that this is good way to showcase what eureka has to offer.

The festival runs until tomorrow with a 5K Fun Run that kicks off at 10 A.M.
