WRCF awards $18,000 in grants to summer youth programs

CURRY & DEL NORTE COUNTY, CA. (KIEM) – Now we all know Spring has only just begun, but several organizations in Curry and Del Norte County are gearing up for the summer activities, and to make things run smoother, how about a generous donation of $18,000.

As part of the annual Youth Mini-Grant Program, the Wild Rivers Community Foundation along with other donors have presented grants, ranging from 250 to 1,500 dollars to 23 different groups. A few grant recipients include the Del Norte Child Care Council, the Curry Public Library and the Oasis Shelter Home.
