Senate Mike McGuire Hosts Hearing on Offshore Wind Energy

EUREKA (KIEM) – North Coast Senator mike McGuire Listened to testimonies from community members and local leaders to discuss offshore wind energy, and how it impacts fisheries and wildlife.

The hearing gave the public a chance to speak out about their concerns.

A panel of environmental and fisheries leaders were there to talk about wind energy and how important it is to the state’s energy supply. They also explained how it can help mitigate environmental impacts.
