Crescent City, Ca, (KIEM) This weekend volunteers from Take a Bite of Blight, a community outreach program in Crescent City, was all hands on deck for a community rehabilitation project.
Saturday, volunteers John Jacob, Greg Cetner, LDS missionaries along with other helping hands, showed up to a vacant Crescent City property along Cummins Road to completed stage two of the program’s abatement project.
Volunteers said an estimated five tons of trash and garbage, that has accumulated over the years, was removed and the property was cleared and cleaned up.
Volunteers donated their own machinery for the effort. Recology also provided discounted bins.
