Former Humboldt County correctional officer sentenced to 106 years in prison for child molestation

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM)- A former Humboldt County correctional deputy was sentenced to 106 years in prison for sexually molesting three boys.

31 year-old Cory Fisher was convicted in April of nine felony counts of sexual abuse of his son and two adopted sons.

The judge made the ruling Monday morning at the Humboldt County Courthouse. Before the sentencing, deputy district attorney Stacey Eads read the letters from both Fisher’s former wife Angela and one of the victims.

As of now, it’s not known when and what prison Fisher will be transport to.
