Second suspect arrested for Willow Creek burglary

EUREKA, CA (KIEM)- After leading law enforcement on a high speed chase more than two weeks ago, a second man is now in custody.

23 year-old William Orsina Mattingly was taken into custody Sunday outside of McKinleyville. Mattingly and another man allegedly led police on a high speed chase west of Willow Creek more than 2 weeks ago. This, after a reported burglary in the same area.

The other man, 26 year-old Trayten Hunt was arrested following a crash that ended the chase but Mattingly was able to evade police until now.

Mattingly was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility and is facing multiple felony charges.
