EUREKA (KIEM) – Old Growth Cellars bottled up cases of their wine and for every 12 seconds, a case of wine is packed.
Over 1400 cases were packed up. The grapes come from Mendocino and Sacramento. But the wine is made right here in Humboldt and making it is not an easy process.
It takes several weeks to make the wine. It’s then stored into oak barrels, where it’s aged for about a year and a half.
Co-owner Bob Lima says, they hope to expand their wine production and reach other parts of California.
