PG&E warns residents of potential scams

EUREKA, CA (KIEM)- PG&E is warning residents to be aware of two ongoing scams.

The utility company said they received reports of scammers requesting payments on past due bills. For payment, they ask for a wire transfer, green dot card or money pack.

As for the other scam, it’s in the form of a letter with PG&E’s logo demanding payment. The most recent incident happened in Eureka.
