Humboldt Area Foundation Names New Chief Executive Officer

Bayside, Ca. (KIEM) — today, the Humboldt Area Foundation named Bryna Lipper as the new chief executive officer. She was one of more than ninety people that applied for the position.

Before joining the foundation, she was the acting director for the Office for International and Philanthropic Innovation at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. She also co-founded the Rockefeller Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities initiative. She holds a master’s degree in public administration from Harvard University.

Lipper will be moving to Arcata from Boston next month. She will be taking on her new role at the foundation starting August 1st.
