First Friday Night Market of the Year held Friday in Old Town

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM) — Eureka’s first Friday Night Market of the year kicked off Friday. Streets in Old Town were closed off for the event.

This is the second year for the market put together by Humboldt Made. Visitors could stroll through the farmers market, grab some food from one of the vendors, buy a new piece of clothing or jewelry, and check out live music. One organizer, Alanna Powell, says it’s all about bringing the local community together.

Friday Night Market takes place every Friday until the end of September.
