CHP Investigating Hit and Run Collision Involving 15-Year Old Teenager

HOOPA (KIEM) – CHP is investigating a hit and run collision that happened in Hoopa.

It occurred around 10 p.m. on Friday night. A 15 year old male was walking along Marshall Lane, just south of Big Hill Road. A black sedan was traveling northbound of that road, and made an unsafe left turn, crashing into the juvenile.

The 15 year old landed on the car’s hood rolling off, but managed to get a description off the vehicle before passing out. When the juvenile woke up, he walked home where his parents took him to Hoopa-Willow Creek Ambulance Station.

The 15 year old sustained minor injuries and is expected to be okay. Anyone with information is asked to contact CHP.
