Fortuna Man Arrested for making threats to a Group Scheduled to Visit HSU Campus

Arcata, Ca., (KIEM) An 18-year-old male from Fortuna was arrested Friday morning for making threats to Humboldt State University campus visitors.

18-year old Sean Allman, not a student of the university, made specific threats of violence, to a group scheduled to visit campus.

In the teen’s threat, university police say Allman referred to New Zealand Mosque Shooting, as well as the shooting at Columbine High School in Colorado.

University Police are urging folks to be on the look-out as they say Allman can be a possible threat to the campus if he is released.

Allman is described as 5’ 8’’, 135 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

University officials say criminal charges are being evaluated.
