Betty Kwan Chinn Homeless Foundation Receives Thousands of Dollars in Funding

EUREKA (KIEM) – The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors approved thousands of dollars in funding for The Betty Kwan Chinn Homeless Foundation.

The Betty Chinn Foundation will receive over $600,000 dollars through federal and state dollars.

The agreement is included in the proposed 2019 to 2020 budget. It will go into effect starting next month and will last until June of next year.

Chinn says, she is very grateful for the funds and will continue to serve the community.

Tomorrow Betty Chinn will be hosting a career workshop. Twelve local businesses will be helping Chinn’s clients find jobs.
