HUMBOLDT COUNTY (KIEM)– A popular Reggae music festival has been cancelled this Summer.
The longtime Reggae on the River Festival will not happen this year.
High Times says the event has been cancelled and refunds will be issued to all ticket holders.
The event has struggled in the past with finances, controversial artists, and lack of attendance. High Times teamed up with the Mateel in 2018 to help put on the event. The news does not come as a surprise to some locals who have seen the decline over the years.
