Humboldt Yacht Club Holds Annual Open House

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM) — The Humboldt Yacht Club opened up the doors to the public for their annual open house and ‘sailstice’ event earlier today.

People who are interested in sailing or boating could stop by for some hamburgers and learn all about what the club has to offer. The event was held at the Wharfinger building out on waterfront drive. The club promotes recreational boating around Humboldt Bay. According to the Yacht Club Commodore, Larry Fox, the goal of today’s event is to shine some light on the sailing opportunities here on the North Coast.
