3 die in solo crash near Trinidad

TRINIDAD, Ca (KIEM)-Three people are dead after a solo traffic collision near Trinidad.

The California Highway Patrol said at around 3:15 am Tuesday, a Chevy truck was traveling southbound on Patrick’s Point Drive. The truck went off the roadway, struck an embankment and ejected two men and a woman from the vehicle that caught fire.

All three victims were pronounced dead at the scene. They are identified as; James Cohee Jr. of Trinidad, 32 year-old Cody Behler of Arcata and 28 year-old Chloe Chapman of Eureka .
