EUREKA, Ca (KIEM)-The summer months are a busy time for Tommy Gale.  Along with his day job, he’s also a member of the B52’s baseball team. This is his second season with the Bombers.

Entering this week, Gale is 3 and 1 with a 1.76 ERA. His best performance of the summer was back on June 15. The right-hander struck out 12 batters in a 3-2 win over the Redding Ringtails.

While Gale has seen most of his time on the bump, he can also swing the bat. Gale has one home run and 7 RBI.

Gale doesn’t know how much longer he’ll be taking to the mound. But after he throws his last pitch, he would like to continue by giving back to the game as a coach.
