Shelter Cove Fire reminds residents of July 4th Firework Restrictions

Shelter Cove, Ca., (KIEM) With the 4th of July coming up, safety warnings are high for the Shelter Cove community.

Shelter Cove Fire would like to remind its residents that fire danger is high and the grass is dry and extremely thick, this year.

With that, only California Safe and Sane Fireworks will be allowed in Shelter Cove. Meaning fireworks that do not have aerial effects or that explode.

The only place any other type of firework will be tolerated is on the Marina Beach aimed out over the water.

All illegal fireworks will be reported to the authorities.

Anyone using non CA legal fireworks even on the Marina Beach risk losing all fireworks, paying hefty fines, or jail time.
