Drug Enforcement Serves Warrant in Rancho Sequoia

RANCHO SEQUOIA (KIEM)- Drug Enforcement served a search warrant in Rancho Sequoia to investigate illegal cannabis cultivation.

Wednesday, Humboldt County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Deputies responded to a reported property containing illegal cannabis cultivation. One parcel was investigated, containing roughly 600 growing cannabis plants. The parcel is not permitted, nor is licensed to cultivate cannabis commercially.

Violations are totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars, with additional violations expected to be filed. No arrests were made at the time.
