“Bambi” spends the day with Humboldt County Sheriff’s

HUMBOLDT COUNTY (KIEM)– Humboldt County Sheriff’s Day Shift Deputies got to meet a real life Bambi today.

A passerby located the little guy on the roadway of Highway 36 near Dinsmore. His mom had been struck by a vehicle and unfortunately did not make it. The passerby dropped the deer at HCS’s main station and the deer got to spend the morning in their Sergeant’s Office.

He is being evaluated at a local wildlife center.
