Suspected Drug Activity in Eureka Leads to Four Arrests

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM) – Eureka police make four arrests for suspected drug activity.

The EPD and Pop Unit served a search warrant 7:45 a.m Thursday at a residence on the 800 block of H Street. Officers said they located methamphetamine, heroin, a firearm, ammunition, and a stolen motorcycle.

The EPD told Redwood News four arrest were made. Three of the four are Eureka residents.

40-year-old Matthew Painter was booked on suspicion of controlled substances and narcotics for sale.

30-year-old Courtney Garrett, also on suspicion of drug paraphernalia and probation violation.

38-year-old Tamela Brown was booked for maintaining a drug house.

29-year-old Marshall McConnel of Hoopa was arrested for possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Any suspected drug activity within Eureka can be reported to the EPD.
