Betty Chinn Day Center Hosts 2nd Family Literacy Day with Eureka Police Department This Weekend

EUREKA (KIEM) – if you’re looking for something for you and your family to do this weekend, the Betty Chinn Day Center is hosting event for all families!

This is the second literacy day event for the summer. There will be three literacy day events in total. For this month, EPD will be joining the kids and the families. The Traveling Library will also be on site, to loan books out to kids.

Program Manager Megan Agnihotri says, it’s a good way for the community to come out and see that day center just doesn’t provide for the homeless, but everyone is welcomed.

Family Literacy Day is this Saturday from 3 P.M. To 4 P.M. at the Betty Chinn Day Center in Eureka.
