Eureka Police Arrest Man for “Stayn” Graffiti Seen Around Town

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – Eureka Police have arrested a man believed to be responsible for the “stayn” graffiti tag that has been seen around town for the last several weeks. The arrest comes just days after EPD released a surveillance video of the suspect.

21 year-old Nicholas Hedrick of Eureka was arrested Thursday after police obtained a search warrant for his residence.

Hedrick was charged with felony vandalism. He was transported and booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility.

He has since posted bail and is no longer in custody. This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information is urged to contact EPD.
