Woman Behind “Skunk” Graffiti in Old Town Arrested by Eureka Police

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) — The Eureka Police have arrested a woman responsible for tagging the word “skunk” onto an electrical box in an Old Town alley. All thanks to surveillance video.

31-year-old Kirstie Wright was arrested after admitting to being the person in the video. Police also found graffiti instruments. Wright was arrested for possession of graffiti tools.

She was found to be on active parole out of Humboldt County. Right now, she is behind held without bail due to a parole hold. 

EPD is trying to build their case and urges anyone that has been vandalized with the word “skunk” to reach out to Sergeant Greg Hill.
