Eureka Woman Arrested for Reported Drug Distribution

EUREKA (KIEM)– A Eureka woman is behind bars after reportedly distributing methamphetamine throughout Humboldt County.

On Sunday afternoon, Special Agents with the Humboldt County Drug Task Force and a Narcotic Detection K-9 with the Humboldt County District Attorney’s Office, conducted a traffic stop on 37-year-old Sherrie Bazan in Hydesville.

Agents searched the vehicle and found roughly 5.75 pounds of suspected methamphetamine.

Bazan’s residence in Eureka was also searched and agents located digital scales and packaging material.

The 37-year-old was booked for transportation across multiple counties, possession of controlled substance for sales, and child endangerment.
