Micro-Grant and Loan Advisory Committee Selection; Nordic Aquafarms to go Before the Board of Supervisors

EUREKA (KIEM) – The Board of Supervisors will be meeting tomorrow morning at the Humboldt County Courthouse.

Agenda items include appointments to the cannabis Micro-Grant and Loan Advisory Committee and a Nordic Aquafarms proposed project presentation.

Back in May, the Board of Supervisors approved the committee. Now several candidates are up for selection.

Nordic Aquafarms will also be going before the Board of Supervisors. They will be talking infrastructure upgrade, water access, and water quality issues. Over the last several months, Nordic Aquafarms has been meeting with several community members.

U.S. President of Operations Erik Hiem says, this is an opportunity to bring in jobs and attract other businesses to Humboldt County.
