Humboldt Locals Join “Storm Area 51” Trend and Plan to Camp Out

EUREKA (KIEM) – Over the last several weeks, the Storm Area 51 Facebook page has gone viral and now has close two million attending.

After hearing about the trending event, a group of Humboldt locals is planning to head over to watch the possible meet up unfold.

The Humboldt Storms Area 51 Facebook group has over a dozen members. The group says, they are not planning to storm the secure military base and also say they do not recommend people run Area 51.

But they do want to watch happens if people do decide to. The group says, they really just want to head out to the desert, enjoy a good camping trip, have a good time, and enjoy the company of other people.
