M.E.T Serves Two Search Warrants for Illegal Cannabis Cultivation in Hyampom

Hyampom, Ca. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement team served two search warrants to investigate illegal cannabis cultivation in the Hyampom area.

Five parcels owned by Trinity Pacific and Napaville were investigated. The Sheriff’s Office says, they did not possess the required permit or license to cultivate commercially.

Deputies eradicated over 6,500 growing cannabis plants. They also seized and destroyed over 500 pounds of cannabis bud. Suspects have been identified and charges forwarded to the district attorney’s office, but no names have been released.

Additional agencies assisted in service of the warrant and found numerous violations. Anyone with information is asked to call the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office.
