20 Artists Will Be Installing New Mural and Sculptures at this Year’s Eureka Street Art Festival

EUREKA (KIEM) – Artists from all over will be flocking to Humboldt County to paint and display their throughout Eureka.

Twenty murals will be adding splashes of color to the City during the Eureka Street Art Festival. New sculptures will even be installed throughout Old Town Eureka.This year’s festival will focus on Sixth Street, particularly between C and H Streets.

The festival is a week-long event that celebrates the art community and the people who create it. Last year, over 5000 people attended the festival.

Program Manager Jenna Catsos says, this event helps showcase and supports the art community.

The Eureka Street Art Festival starts tomorrow with a kickoff party at 7 P.M. at the Humboldt Cider Company.

The festival runs until Saturday, August 3.
