Fortuna Church Hosts Free Health Care Clinic for Community

FORTUNA (KIEM) – Living in Humboldt County, access to health care can be difficult.

But a local Fortuna church hosted a free health clinic to help community members access basic health care needs.

The clinic featured dental, medical, and vision with even physical therapy session.

The clinic was free and open to anyone and everyone. Some volunteers even went door-to-door to let the neighborhood know that the clinic was available.

This is the first year the Fortuna Seventh Day Adventist Church hosted this clinic and they hope to continue to host this session next year.
