ARCATA (KIEM) – There’s now a new alert system that can help residents stayed informed with everything that’s going on in their neighborhood.
It’s called the CodeRED Emergency Notification System and it alerts residents what’s happening in their community. Giving them information on road closures, construction, tsunami warnings, and even critical law enforcement incidents.
Anyone who signs up with CodeRED will receive alerts through phone, text, or email.
Arcata Chief of Police Brian Ahearn says, this notification system will help the public and the community stayed informed and keeps them in the loop.
