Arcata Woman Arrested for Reported Drug Distribution

MCKINLEYVILLE (KIEM)- An Arcata woman was taken in custody after reportedly distributing heroin throughout Humboldt County.

The Humboldt County drug task force along with Arcata Police Department served a warrant at the residence along the 12-hundred block of Central Avenue in McKinleyville.

Agents received reports that 38-year-old Elisabeth Brown was distributing narcotics throughout the county.

Brown was found to be in possession of a half-pound of suspected heroin packaged for sales along with nearly three-thousand dollars believed to be profits from illegal drug sales.

Due to medical conditions, she was released from police custody and HCDTF will forward their report to the District Attorney’s Office.
