Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Challenging Public Safety Partners and Agencies to Join CASA Fundraiser

EUREKA (KIEM) – The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is challenging public safety partners and other law enforcement agencies to help foster kids in the area.

The Sheriff’s Office is joining in the Court Appointed Special Advocates or CASA’s 17th annual Kid Walk Fundraiser. They want other law enforcement agencies to join in on the campaign.

Sheriff Honsal says, law enforcement is the first line of defense for children and families, so it’s important show support.

This is the first year the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office will be joining in.
