HSU’s Social Work Program Receives Large Gift

ARCATA (KIEM)- Humboldt State University receives a 250-thousand dollar gift to support their online social work programs.

The money is from the Superior Region Mental Health Workforce Education and Training Partnership that creates an endowment called the Social Work Distributed Endowed Fund.

The money will support several aspects of HSU’s distributed learning social work programs including financial assistance for students to travel to HSU for on-campus orientations and learning intensives.
