EPD Responds to Traffic Collision Involving Motorcycle and Car

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM) — Eureka Police and Humboldt Bay Fire respond to a traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a car. Just before 4:30 pm police responded to the intersection of Broadway and Cedar Street in Eureka. A motorcycle was traveling northbound on Broadway when a driver pulled out of the movie theater parking lot. The motorcyclist attempted to avoid a collision and fell off his bike as a result.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene. According to EPD, the motorcyclist was transported to the hospital, but the extent of his injuries is unknown.
