Carnival Rides ready to go for Humboldt County Fair

FERNDALE, Ca (KIEM) – Over 70,000 people are expected to attend this year’s Humboldt County Fair.

Wednesday vendors and carnival employees were hard at work setting up for the opening day. From hammering down tent posts, hanging up picture frames, and putting the cotton candy in place for kids to see. This year spectators can expect a magician levitation act, American Dog and Pony Show, rides, and much more.

“I think you’ll see a lot of changes. New vendors, new rides at the carnival. Different horses, different jockeys at the horse races. Depending on where your area of interest is, I believe there’s something for everybody,” said Richard Conway, Humboldt County Fair Manager.

Opening day of the Humboldt County Fair starts Thursday with Kid’s Day.
