EUREKA (KIEM)– A Eureka man is behind bars for reportedly threatening neighbors with an assault rifle.
On Monday, EPD responded to the 12-hundred block of Myrtle Avenue, where officers located 33-year-old Aaron Cummings.
Cummings stated he had a dispute with his neighbors
Upon further investigation, officers learned that during the dispute Cummings pushed his neighbor causing a minor injury.
The 33-year-old then displayed an assault rifle from the residence while yelling threats towards neighbors.
EPD located an illegal assault rifle and a handgun in the 33-year-old residence.
Cummings is been charged with criminal threats, brandishing a weapon, assault and battery and possession of stolen property.
