BLUE LAKE (KIEM)– The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office needs your help in locating a missing Blue Lake resident.
Daniel Komins was supposed to return yesterday from a hiking expedition in the Trinity Alps.
Komins was last seen on Sunday, when he and other hikers summited Thompson peak. He then went on a solo trek on Canyon Creek Trail.
A search and rescue team launched a search Thursday morning.
If you have any information on Komin’s whereabouts, you are asked to contact law enforcement.
