Flynn Creek Circus in Arcata for Creamery Festival

Arcata, Ca. (KIEM) — The Creamery Festival put on by the Arcata Playhouse returns to the historic Creamery District in Arcata this weekend. It’s a four day celebration with events for the whole family.

Earlier today, things kicked off with a performance by the Flynn Creek Circus that featured jugglers, acrobats, and more. Both children and adults filled the big top tent to catch all the fun.

They are also having live music and the playhouse’s signature outdoor performance, Elemental. It is put together by students and is complete with giant puppets, dancers, and community-created paper lanterns.

According to the executive director of the Arcata Playhouse, the festival is all about bringing the community together to celebrate the arts. The elemental outdoor performance kicks off Saturday at 8 pm.
