City of Eureka offers Residential Parking Permit Program

Eureka, Ca., (KIEM) For some Eureka residents parking woes may be a thing in the past.

The city of Eureka has a Residential Parking Permit Program for residents living between 1st and 8th Streets and A and J streets.

According to the city of Eureka, the program will allow for residents within the Downtown, Old Town area to park in city parking lots beyond the parking time limits without paying parking meter fees.

To obtain a parking permit, a resident must meet all requirements which can be found on city’s engineering department website here.

If approved an annual fee will apply.
